Janneke Plantenga new chair Diversity Task Force
We are pleased to announce the appointment of Prof. dr. Janneke Plantenga to the position of chair of the Diversity Task Force, starting from 2019. Janneke Plantenga is Dean of the Faculty of Law, Economics and Governance. Furthermore, she holds the chair of Economics of the Welfare State.

Janneke succeeds Prof. mr. Annetje Ottow, Vice-President of the Executive Board of Utrecht University. The Diversity Task Force is greatly indebted to Annetjes work and wishes Janneke the best of luck!

New issue of Pandora out now
On 2 December the newest issue of Pandora was published, Utrecht University's magazine on gender and diversity.

This edition features an interview with the Dean of the Faculty of Sciences, an introduction of the newly instituted diversity committee of the Faculty of Geosciences and an item on #MeToo in academia.

Diversity Stimulation Fund welcomes applications
The UU Diversity Task Force allocates € 50.000 on a yearly basis to support projects and activities that improve diversity and inclusion among students and employees. The Stimulation Fund has already supported a number of exciting initiatives. Do you have an idea for a project or activity that could use financial support? New editor joining the diversity newsletter
Hi, my name is Myra-Lot Perrenet and I recently started working as an editor for the newsletter of the Diversity Task Force.

I also work as an inclusion correspondent and I work at the Department of Physics as an audiovisual engineer.

My educational background is Arts and Culture (BA) at Maastricht University. Inclusion has always been one of my interests.
